Kyrie Dawson

California native Kyrie Dawson has devised, acted, and improvised her way up and down the West Coast. Kyrie attended Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR, where she studied theater under Rebecca Lingafelter. After graduating, she spent a year with Seattle’s Akropolis Performance Lab as their 2018-2019 artistic apprentice. Over the years, Kyrie has collaborated with a wide variety of creative groups and individuals, including Northern California’s Transcendence Theater Company, the Sonoma Shakespeare Avalon Players, Nervous Theater’s Connor Berkompas, and Bradford Rosenbloom. Her most recent theater credits include Mary Swanson in Middletown (Verge Theater), Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods (Intermountain Opera Bozeman) and Eurydice in Orpheus Ascending (MSU Black Box Theater). This past spring, Kyrie made her directing debut with F*cking A by Suzan-Lori Parks (Verge Theater). Kyrie is currently based out of Bozeman, Montana, where she is a core company member of Bozeman Actors Theater and serves on the Verge Theater’s Board of Directors.
